You’ll cross Eaglehawk Neck to the Tasman Peninsula where we hit the water again on a cruise around the Isle of the Dead before your tour on this famous penal settlement. Your guide will show you the ruins, cathedral, and cells of Port Arthur while sharing stories of its beginnings as a small timber station and the convicts who left their mark on this former a place of hardship and punishment - some of whom also contributed to the shipbuilding industry. After an insightful morning, return to Hobart and your accommodation past the craggy cliffs of Pirate’s Bay Lookout and unusual rock formations of Tasman’s Arch, Devil’s Kitchen, and the Blowhole.
