A magnificent experience. I didn't think I would enjoy a guided tour, but I really enjoyed this one. The itinerary was extremely well-organized, and the tour guide had vast knowledge of a multitude of topics related to the various locations. A highlight was the attending a presentation of classical Spanish Flamenco music and dancing.

Spanish Wonder - Great Overview of Spain Service provided by the Travel Director, hotel staff, etc. was excellent. Local specialists were very knowledgeable; therefore, added a lot to the tour. Itinerary gave a good overview of Spain, including a number of highlights. Celia, our Travel Director was excellent. She was from the area and was extremely knowledgeable. The coach was very clean and comfortable. Onboard Wi-Fi was appreciated. We elected to partake in all of the "optional experiences" which made for a very busy itinerary. Highlights for me personally were the Royal Gardens at the Alhambra in Granada and Montserrat near Barcelona. Additionally, a couple of the dinners that our Travel Director organized were a lot of fun and the food was great! The transfers provided by Trafalgar don't work well unless your flilght aligns with the one transfer time that they provided. Because we didn't arrive and depart on the tour dates, we were unable to take advantage of the complimentary transfers. While I personally have no issues with walking long distances, it would be helpful if the brochure mentioned how much walking may be required on the average tour day. Most days, we walked 18,000 steps which was a lot for a number of people on the tour. It would be good for people to know that a fair amount of walking is required. If you opted not to walk, you would miss out on the most important aspects of the tour. For the most part, meals included with the tour were very good, with the exception of the Olive Farm. Most people we talked to agreed that the Olive Farm (Connect with the Locals) was very informative and we were happy it was included. Having said this, the chicken they served was not edible. It was so dry and tough that you could hardly cut through it. (Must have been an old hen that several of us were served!) It would be nice if some main attractions in Madrid and Barcelona were incoproated into the tour (eg. Madrid Palace, Sagrada Familia)

3rd trip to Spain. We had a top notch driver who maneuvered through some tight spots and very personable. Our tour guide was very efficient and enjoyed our group. It was fast pace. There was spectacular highlights of Spain but if you want to explore more of them you will have to extend your trip! Well worth the price.

Spanish Wonder May 2024 review. I have taken several tours with this company. This is the second trip of 5 that went as planned. The tour director are great. The actual securing of the trip was mostly online less personable. The hotels were not bad, however it would be nice (and cut down on travel time when on your own) if they were centrally located. have centrally located. There was no Gaudi site visits on schedule, just walk by. Why go to Spain and not see his work? Major deficit of the trip. The tour Director Kylee and fellow travelers (from around the world) were fantastic.

Very good. Tania was an excellent tour director, always attending to our concerns and making the drive enjoyable with her informative chats and dry sense of humor. Arlindo was an accomplished and courteous driver, helping older members out of the bus with a steadying hand. I feel we really got to see the wonders of Spain in a week. The local experts were very engaging too.
