Dining Summary

  • 2 Dinner (D)
  • 7 Breakfast (B)
  • 1 Lunch (L)

Be My Guest

  • Portland: We'll take a side trip to Oregon's green and golden wine country for an exclusive Be My Guest gourmet lunch with the area's signature Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley.

Dive into Culture

  • Bainbridge Island: Venture to Jardin du Soleil, a certified organic lavender farm near Sequim, Washington. Explore the Victorian gardens, ponds, fruit trees and lavender fields on this 10+ acre farm. Deepen your discovery by joining the Jardin du Soleil team as you learn to distill and harvest lavender right on their farm. You’ll then work with a lavender farmer to make your own lavender essential oil -- known as a natural antiseptic and to help with headaches and relaxation.

Iconic Experience

  • Seattle: Tick the must-see attraction of Pike Place Market off your bucket list. At the oldest, continuously open farmers’ market in the country, take your time exploring the market’s stalls and shops spread across nine acres. Visit the historic arcade and make your way down winding alleys, stairways and lower levels for a sensory tour of sights, sounds and tastes. Be sure to stop by the Pike Place Fish Market, famous for its vendors who toss fish back and forth. Founded in 1930, the Pike Place Fish Market is an enduring Seattle institution and a one-of-a-kind experience.
  • Seattle: Unlock incredible views of the Emerald City from the Seattle Space Needle. Built in 1962 for the World’s Fair, this 605-foot-tall icon continues to represent the innovative and forward-thinking spirit of Seattle. Stroll around the circular deck, offering unique vantage points of the city’s neighborhoods.
  • Olympic National Park: Visit with your Travel Director and get to know one of America’s most diverse national parks. From forested trails to coastal views, discover why this protected landscape holds such significance for the Pacific Northwest and those who call it home.
  • Astoria: Explore at your own pace through hands-on exhibits and maritime collections that bring the Pacific Northwest’s seafaring history to life. Learn how the Columbia River shaped the region and why the Columbia River Bar remains one of the most dangerous waterways in the world.
  • Astoria: Delve into historic Astoria, the oldest American settlement west of the Rocky Mountains. Visit Astoria Column for sweeping views, then board the Astoria Riverfront Trolley for a scenic orientation.
  • Hood River: Head to Multnomah Falls, Oregon's tallest waterfall at 620 feet. Learn how the falls are fed by underground springs from Larch Mountain and are usually highest during the winter and spring seasons. Multnomah Falls is also one of the best places in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area to study geology exposed by floods. As the most-visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest, it's the ideal spot to snap pictures to add to your travel album.

MAKE TRAVEL MATTER®

  • Portland: Enjoy a tour of TMK Creamery where you’ll see where they make their cheese and ice cream. TMK is the world's only Farmstead Creamery + Distillery and sustainability is at the forefront of their operations. As you unlock the secrets behind their operation, you'll even meet the “Cowlebrities,” learning how the creamery has gotten creative by upcycling remnants from each of their processes into a consumable product. our experience supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.

Excellent Tour and Service - Small Group - Friendly Group of Travelers. Our guide *Personal information removed by Feefo* and driver *Personal information removed by Feefo* were attentive to our needs. *Personal information removed by Feefo* went out of her way to give me a paper copy of the daily schedule as we had difficulty getting the picture of it on our cellphone. *Personal information removed by Feefo* drove the bus smoothly and there were no bus mishaps. Good itinerary, excellent guide and driver. Lavender field, Olympic Park, and Aviation were interesting places to visit. It would be better if the final hotel (Hilton) had a refrigerator to keep our refillable water bottles cold as well as a clock in the room.

The tour director and the bus driver were amazing. It was a lot of time on the bus. There could have been more stops along the way. Although this was a good group, I personally don't like such large groups. I also prefer more immersive experiences.

Fun, Adventure and Relaxing I missed having a free Trafalgar pick up and return to Airport. It added more to the cost of the trip. Otherwise everything else excellent. Sites were great, slower pace, Tour Director and Bus Driver were fantastic. I can not say enough on what a good team they are. I would have liked to have seen more of Oregon's rocky coast. I don't know how it happened, but what a wonderful group of people I got to travel with. We really had a lovely trip.

Trafalgar's service was excellent. Tour guide and bus driver were excellent!! We had the best tour guide and bus driver ever! Absolutely no reflection on our tour leaders but stepping over homeless doing drugs and peeing on walls was definitely not a sight I would like to see again. Viewing between the two big cities was spectacular.

Excellent trip, great company, good service. Tour director and coach driver were great. A well- balanced tour with a great number of stops the only thing missing is a visit to Mount Rainier - I got into Seattle a day earlier and took that trip first before joining the coach tour.
