First rate experience. The whole experience was first rate, from the booking agent to the tour director, various local guides/drivers and the well curated itinerary. The accommodations were lovely and there was just the right amount of free time. It was especially nice to hear from local people who happily shared their stories. I would highly recommend this tour for those interested in learning about the history, people and ecosystem of Costa Rica. This is not a lie-on- the-beach vacation. It’s a deep dive into the country’s history and its people (as deep as you can go in one week) and completely enjoyable.

Costa Rica Eco Tour delivered as promised. Trafalgar's representative met our group at the San Jose airport arrivals and made going through the airport, customs and finding the shuttle to the hotel very easy and stress-free. The tour provided a great insight into Costa Rica's landscape and people. The locations and activities were varied and well planned. The tour director and driver were fabulous and were an important part of the itinerary's success. The director was very informative, providing information about the landscape, the venues and the country.

Costa Rica is a 'must see' destination. The best places to see & best excursions are all sorted for you. Just show up & enjoy. Travel Directors on both trips were excellent - heaps of local knowledge & very helpful. Trafalgar made everything easy. Costa Rica Eco Adventure was amazing & takes in the best parts, the wildlife & natural beauty is absolutely breathtaking. Trafalgar was absolutely brilliant, we were treated so well as winners of the Trafalgar Unlocked Awards Competition. It was another Trafalgar trip of a lifetime, following my first trip with them in 2023 on a 30 day tour through Europe. I will certainly be travelling again with Trafalgar, the best places & excursions are already thought out, with flexibility to venture off alone sometimes too. Just show up & enjoy the ride. Best part is to share it with other travelers from all corners of the world.

My Costa Rica trip Trafalgar is the best they take care of everything. Trafalgar makes traveling easy. This trip was an adventure from the beginning to the end. The travel director and his crew were friendly, polite, and fun. We were kept informed of the daily agenda and any changes that were made. We had our optional activities paid for, and daily contest with gift give aways. The hotels were very nice and accommodating. We had a great time.

Costa Rica eco tour. Great variety of well - planned activities on this tour. Excellent tour director. Wished we had more time at a couple of locations. And the timing for return to San Jose airport was very poor.

Adventures in Costa Rica. It started with the group leader, who was so good. He knew so much about Costa Rica, its sites, its people, it's culture. He, and the farms, homes and locations we visited were very interesting and well chosen. Everything was well "vetted". I would not hesitate to take another Trafalgar trip. Great leader, well organized activities, quick problem solving, excellent variety of adventures.

Immerse Yourself in Nature. Excellent service provided by our guide Herman and our driver Jose. A perfect duo whom took us safely from place to place with enthusiasm and so much knowledge about the flora, fauna and culture. I came to appreciate their 'Pura Vida' attitude which was so infectious. They hold their precious commodity of nature and life in such high regard. Awesome adventure, it checked off all the boxes: Howler Monkeys, Capuchin monkeys, Coati, tree frogs, bird lover's dream, sloths, butterflies galore, reptiles, land pioneers, orchids and tropical flowers, thermal baths, cloud forests, etc.
