Included Experience

  • Khao Sok National Park: Glide past immense rainforest at this little piece of tropical heaven. Home to elephants, gibbons, and more.
  • Khao Sok National Park: Glide across this emerald lake and take in the serene rainforest and towering limestone cliffs. You could actually be in Jurassic Park…

  • Georgetown: Georgetown is home to some of the most striking temples and street art, specially created to make everyone super jelly of your insta feed.
  • Kuala Lumpur: See more of Kuala Lumpur with a visit to the world famous Batu Caves - gigantic limestones caves housing a Hindu temple. After dragging your eyes away from the 140-foot tall statue of Lord Murugan, the Hindu God, climb the 272 stairs to reach the main cave for some amazing views. Careful of any cheeky monkeys whilst you snap pics of the Kuala Lumpur skyline.

Thought the whole experience was bang for buck and will be planning another trip with contiki ASAP. Everything was really well organised. (Our trip manager) was amazing. Heaps of energy and loads of fun but also very knowledgeable. A great way to see a lot of places and a good variety of activities from the city to the great outdoors. Would 100% recommend contiki!

Only thing I wish I knew was that at the end of the trip usually the group become friends already and I could book extra stay to continue exploring Singapore, as one day was NOT enough. We had to rush and we still manage to visit 1 garden park and that was it. Unfortunately, due to lack of communication from Contiki customer service. We never knew on the itinerary what hotels we were staying at and that we could book extra stays for the last stop. I had 1 week off after the trip and wished I spent it in Singapore instead of at home. It was my first contiki after all. Now, I know how to prepare for next time. As for our trip manager - she was great. Very friendly and helpful all the way. I liked all her flyers she made for each part of the trip. Very dedicated person. I had a lot of fun on my trip though some part of it especially at the end was quite rushed. I gained a lot pf experience. They never added me to the emails. I kept calling and requesting but because it was my friend who made the booking. They assumed we live together and I could just look into her emails for info I guess?! It was frustrating to not be able to follow through what was going on. I had to rely on my friend to forward me email updates each time. The staff didn’t know a lot of information either. Every time I would call a different person would pick and different information was given.

This trip was a once in a lifetime experience. It was my first trip with contiki and I will definitely go on many more! Except for one pretty bad hotel in Malaysia, everything from our accommodation, food and transport to overall safety and guidance by our tour manager was great! Booking the trip was straight forward and easy. I would’ve liked to receive more information prior to the trip (tips on what to pack, what to expect from the trip with regards to how much money to bring or who my fellow travellers were). During the trip we go a lot of tips from our amazing tour manager on what to do at each destination though which made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Purchase was easy, and as I originally booked for March, it was flexible to change the dates to November. Contiki organized well, first time going to SE Asia and it was fantastic! Should get a new local guide for parts of Malaysia. Hotels we stayed at were fantastic!

Zoe Kelly was the best trip manager! Her organization and skills to accommodate our needs was amazing. Shes so extremely knowledgeable and was so king throughout our whole experience. She has a lot of patience and was great at problem solving. I never had to. Stress or worry because I knew Zoe had everything planned. Could not be more happy with my experience, the trip my trip manager etc! I had a great experience booking my trip, I spoke to many agents over the phone for additional details. I do wish the itinerary was released sooner so I can better pack and plan however. Otherwise the payment plan option etc were all great features!
