Went on the 17 day tour of Eastern Europe as a 71 yr old female, solo, traveller. Absolutely loved it!!! It’s pretty full-on but that is what I love. I did all the extra things on the itinerary so that I didn’t miss out on anything, but you could certainly have more down-time if you wanted to. I could never have experienced all the wonderful sights I saw if I’d tried to book a trip like this myself. This was my first tour with Trafalgar and I was very impressed with the company. *Personal information removed by Feefo*, our tour guide, was amazing. Her knowledge about every country and city we went to was second to none and she explained all aspects of the tour clearly so that everyone knew what was happening and when. My fellow travellers were great and I’m already planning my next Trafalgar tour because this one was so AMAZING!!!!

Superb! Great communication from early on. Fantastic itinerary. Excellent tour guide and driver. I loved all the locations and experiences. Our tour guide, *Personal information removed by Feefo* was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and professional. She ensured a memorable, action-packed and smooth tour. Our driver, *Personal information removed by Feefo* was a superb driver. The tour was perfectly paced with 2 nights at each destination, with plenty of opportunities for free time. It’s fairly fast-paced if you do all the optional excursions and possibly not really suitable for seniors with mobility issues. My only small negative is I felt quite a bit of pressure to pay the recommended gratuities (which I thought were optional/suggested only).

Travel, travel, travel! Trafalgar’s tour guides are well educated and well- seasoned to handle all situations. I’ve been on nine trips with Trafalgar and have enjoyed each and everyone of our tour guides and bus drivers. This is a well- planned itinerary and you will see so many places. There are so many hidden gems. I loved having the two days stay at each city we visited. It allowed for a breath! However, with that said this is a very fast paced trip. We walked between five and 7 miles every day.

Trip of a Lifetime! The Service was unbelievable! Our tour director was amazing. His care for everyone, his communication on what to do, not to do, where to go and where not to go was very helpful. His knowledge of the landscape and history was excellent. We learnt so much. The Driver was also 1st class and the bus was very comfortable. To be honest I was not looking forward to being on a bus with many people but we had so much fun and I will not hesitate doing another one. We loved it. Excellent itinerary! It was definitely an experience rather than a holiday. And not complaining as we saw so much and learnt so much. A trip of a lifetime!

Review and Information for New 2024 Itinerary. Trafalgar's pre-tour phone support was good in that it could provide an exact time for a pre-Welcome dinner tour on Day 1. However, the tour summary document they sent two weeks prior to the tour didn't reflect the new 2024 itinerary. So my pre-planning efforts were somewhat wasted and I had to "encourage" the TD to allow us to experience Lake Bled as part of the included itinerary and not as a new add-on (to her credit the TD handled the situation with grace). *Personal information removed by Feefo* was the best TD we've ever had, and she was a big booster of Trafalgar and the TDs that have come up through the Contiki ranks. So it may be that Trafalgar has the best TDs because they have the best farm system (this statement will only make sense to US baseball fans). This was the first tour under a new work-in-progress 2024 itinerary (see photo). The changes are an improvement, but only if Lake Bled remains part of the included itinerary (it appears Trafalgar may make it an optional add-on $$$). Vienna is short-changed in this tour, so arrive a few days early. While we are seasoned group tour travelers, this was our first tour with Trafalgar. *Personal information removed by Feefo* was far and away the best TD we've ever had and I would specifically schedule her tours if there was a way to do that (there isn't). Personal highlights include our pre-tour days in Vienna, Lake Bled, Postojna Caves (optional add-on), Croatia's Plitvice Lakes (optional add-on), Budapest and a nighttime Danube river cruise (on our own, though an optional add-on with dinner is offered), our own expanded tour of Old Town Krakow, Dresden (incredible job of making rebuilt buildings look old), and our own expanded tour of Prague. Zagreb was the only destination stop that I could have skipped on the entire tour. If you like Old World Europe as much as we do, you will love this tour!

New hotels used by Trafalgar. 2 of the hotels were new to Trafalgar, in Zagreb the Zonar was not in a good location, the gym/workout area was under renovation so we could not use it, it was very dark in the lobby area and the rooms were small. In lubjiana Slovenia the One66 was a great hotel with full kitchen and large rooms but the location was not great. It was too far from everything. Hotels in the EU must conform to regulations, being in between winter and spring meant that AC could not be used. It was very warm, and no fans were available, while Trafalgar cannot change EU regs, they could request fans be made available to there customers. *Personal information removed by Feefo* was an excellent tour leader, very knowledgeable about events in the region. She shared many personal experiences with us. If you get her as your tour leader you are in for a treat.
