Great itinerary. Saw and experienced a great deal of France. Tour broken into 2 parts. First 2 week Country Roads of France and 2nd week covered Normandy and Loire Valley. Both itineraries were fabolous with great tour leaders in. I especially enjoyed Normandy and Loire Valley. The optionals we did were well worth it and hotels were of good quality.

We have been looked after well. There is only one thing that puzzles me. In one particular restaurant, the other customers are nearly halfway their meal, and I have not gotten mine. I did not remind the servers because I want to see how long they will realise one customer has not been served. The places my husband and I went to are all worth visiting. They give a lot of history and beauty. There are a lot of information that we did not know before and hence, all of these made us happy we made this tour.

Too many optional activities when it should be more inclusive for the pricing as this was not transparent in Insight Itinerary. Pace was a bit fast, not recommended for Seniors with mobility con strains as some of the optional experiences involve a lot of walking and steep climb in hiistorical sites, viewing sites and Monastery. Also very little room for rest between intervals for activities, in particular when time line is not met, which is frequent.

It’s a great way to see the many different parts of France and enjoy a little of its rich culture , including some history, food, wine and art. The logistics were well organized and the Tour Directors were very good. The Optional Experiences were all very good but do add a bit to the cost. It’s a great way to see the many different parts of France and enjoy a little of its rich culture , including some history, food, wine and art. The Country Roads part of the tour was especially good while the Normandy part was a little too rushed. Frederick Faes was an especially good tour director, bringing a nice touch of French culture.
