Itinerary
Christmas is always exciting. Paris is always exciting. Combine the two and it's almost too much to fathom. Let's do this! Start the pleasantries on the ground in London - we'll be carrying on like family by the time we hit French turf. Shortly before we find our ferry for France, we'll be taking in the English coastline beauty of the White Cliffs of Dover. They owe their gorgeousness to their composition of chalk - you're in awe and we haven't even left the UK! On arrival in France we'll be in Calais, where we will take in the history of World War I battlefields in the Valley of the Somme and Vimy Ridge. This sobering reminder of the war, and a historical talk will help us remind ourselves of the days gone by. Cheese, wine, blockbuster sights at every corner, museums, shopping, the list is endless and the good times are only just beginning. Tonight, we'll take to the cute cobbled streets of the Latin Quarter to find some delicious French eats, who knows you might even dine to the sounds of the harmonica to complete the oh-so French scene.
Accommodation: Ibis Paris Porte D'Orleans Hotel (or similar)
Wake up and start wishing your wolf pack a very Joyeux Noël! Today we'll soak up the city and head up the Montparnasse Tower. Keep it moving with good bottle of wine and some cheese, some shopping or maybe even a trip to the top of the Eiffel! Tonight, we'll stuff ourselves full of traditional French delights like escargot, boeuf bourguignon to name but a few at our included dinner in the famous Montmartre, but of course.
Accommodation: Ibis Paris Porte D'Orleans Hotel (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Throw a croissant in one hand, a coffee in the other, and head out to explore Paris' Boxing Day vibes. We'll kick off with a tour of the most iconic spots here then hit up the Fragonard Perfumery where you can stock up on perfume. Still buzzing with life, this is the perfect time to roam museums (some of the best in the world), people watch, or spoil yourself in the fashionable district of le Marais. Tonight find a restaurant in a local quarter with cobbled streets, dim lighting and possibly a harmonica player to complete the perfect French scene with some vin rouge. This evening you can treat yourself to your own Christmas gift with a Cabaret show & champagne at the Moulin Rouge. Music, dancing, and an obligatory photo in front of the famous windmill. Life = complete.
Accommodation: Ibis Paris Porte D'Orleans Hotel (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast
It's time to board the coach and say farewell to France. The rest of your Christmases sure have a lot to live up to! Back in the big smoke we hug it out one last time before the trip comes to an end. It's time to get prepared for a new year of travel adventures.

Contiki (CA)
Contiki is a New Zealand-based tour company that caters to 18 to 35-year-olds, offering over 350 different tours in over 75 countries in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, North America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.[1] It is a subsidiary of The Travel Corporation. Its tours historically had a reputation for partying;[2][3] however, it also operates wellness trips culturally immersive experiences that focus less on alcohol, which are more popular with Generation Z.[4] The company owns lodging facilities in Europe, including the Chateau De Cruix, a 16th century castle in the Beaujolais wine region, and the Gasthof Schoneck in the Austrian Tyrol. The name "Contiki" comes from the portmanteau 'Con' from the word 'Continent' and 'Tiki'; from the Māori referring to the first man, often symbolised as a pendant known as hei-tiki. It can also be attributed to the New Zealand slang 'Tiki-tour' describing taking a longer route to a destination in order to explore.[5]

I just think this Contiki did not fit our personalities. We have been on contiki trips before and they were great, but this one was full of way too much free time and not really any guidance. I used contiki to help set up experiences/sights/landmark but everything was either seen by bus, boats or completely on your own. If I would have known this was the case I would have booked this travel on our own and saved the money. Maybe it was better for others, but unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience with this contiki. Easy to book, but poor communication to follow. We did not get an itinerary until very late and we had booked hotel accommodation prior to the trip beginning where we were supposed to have a double room but ended up in a twin and it was too late to do anything about it.

Overall a great experience. The trip was very well organised, especially for a trip over Christmas where a lot of things were closed. Got to meet some incredible people even though it’s a short trip and our trip manager really put effort in to connect with us. Would definitely recommend this trip.

The trip was honestly one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced! I don’t even know where to begin. We met so many new faces, experienced some incredible moments, and felt supported all the way through. Contiki made a conscious effort to provide all necessary information to us, made us feel valued and encouraged, and provided services such as transport, which made the experience as smooth as possible. The booking experience, information provided, and communication was very smooth. We received frequent updates and a chance to connect with our team before the trip even started. This was extremely helpful. The trip manager really made an effort to connect everyone and provide all necessary information. The trip manager was also extremely responsive with any questions or concerns we had.

Amazing trip, with the perfect amount of planned and free activities. For a short trip they really nailed the itinerary. Our trip manager Phil was super fun, approachable, and professional. It was very easy to book, and straightforward. I received a lot of information from contiki, and when I had questions they were quick and respond.

Everything you could experience for almost nothing in cost. Knowing the trip was short & during the holidays (meaning a lot of places are closed) Contiki still delivered the most wonderful experience, you couldn’t get this kind of experience elsewhere.
